Taps, the North East’s leading independent plumbers’ merchants has expanded out of the region for the first time by opening a new branch in Yorkshire.
The company is now selling its heating, plumbing and renewable products from York’s Yorvale Business Park, which is open to both the trade and the public.
The expansion takes Taps’ total number of branches to eight. Taps is a sister company of Thompson Building Centres and has branches in Sunderland, Newcastle, Gateshead, Durham and South Shields.
Thompson Building Centres was founded in 1955 and has won numerous awards in both the North East and from its own industry. Taps itself was first launched in 2003.
